Here’s an excerpt:
Set to rival the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG, Porsche Panamera Turbo and upcoming Audi RS7, the latest M-car sets out to broaden the scope of the existing M6 lineup, providing added levels of practicality and improved comfort through the adoption of two extra doors and greater rear seat accommodation than its coupe and convertible siblings, alongside which it will be produced at BMW’s Dingolfing factory in Germany from early 2013.
The car arrives in North America in early summer of next year with a price tag around $110,000.
Our project was to use music that was 3 to 5 minutes long and create an animation to go with the music. This involved going into Soundbooth and editing the song in just the right way to get the perfect selection. I used Andrew Bird’s music called Something Sinister. He created this sound for a childrens book that his mother was illustrating. This Flash animation has 4 main scenes and in the first scene the girl is playing the violin and the ginko leaves are twirling with the music. It fades into the next scene where the girl is still playing as a fox lurks behind the trees looking at a Bobwhite.
The scene changes leaving the girl behind and the fox is now chasing the Bobwhite through the forest trying to catch his supper. The last scene shows the bird under the foxes foot as his face fades from normal into a sinister looking skull. The last scene fades to black with THE END and a REPLAY button to start the process all over again.

Abraham Lake at sunrise…
This was probably the most spectacular sunrise I’ve ever experienced as far as color intensity goes… This light stuck around for a good ten minutes too.
Believe it or not, there was very little post processing done. In fact, I had to De-saturate the colors a little bit because the raw file was too rich… The polarizer I used helped the ice bubbles stand out a bit, and the grad ND helped even out the exposure…
1Ds Mk III – Zeiss 18mm Distagon – B+W circular polarizer – Singh Ray 3 stop soft grad ND.
